I got a lot of questions about the turkey and teepee craft that I posted to Instagram the other day, so I decided to pile the crafts and books that we are using for Thanksgiving in one place to share! It’s not a very long list, but it might be helpful anyway.
Crafts:
Clothespin Turkey – This was so easy and definitely a kid favorite
Teepee – Print, color, cut, and glue. Add some sticks for that extra touch. Also provides an excuse for a nature walk!
Pilgrim and Native American stick puppets – We used craft sticks (the jumbo wood popsicle sticks), but there was a suggestion to use toilet paper rolls, so they could stand up on their own.

Books:
Berenstain Bears Thanksgiving books – I’m actually going to be using the “A Berenstain Bear’s Thanksgiving” curriculum from Love at Home Education with my preschoolers. Berenstain Bear books, activities, and recipes! So fun!
